Jasi Cotton Lanier

Jasi Cotton Lanier is a dynamic stunt performer, actress, and art model whose career spans over 70 television shows and films. Raised in the Carolinas and inspired by her uncle Dusty—who performed live stunt shows in the 1960s—Jasi followed her passion into the male‑dominated world of stunts. She trained at the legendary Bob Yerkes backyard school, mastering high falls, fight choreography, sword work, and reaction techniques.

Her breakout moment came when stunt coordinator John Moio spotted her sword-fighting skills and recommended her for a role doubling a 14-year-old boy on iCarly. She went on to double for Jennette McCurdy across multiple seasons, and since then, has performed stunts in major TV shows and films including The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries, Furious 7, Insurgent, Alice in Wonderland, Castle, and Criminal Minds.

Before her stunt career, Jasi modeled for iconic fantasy artists like Joe Jusko and Greg Hildebrandt and appeared in Heavy Metal magazine and calendars. She’s also a certified PADI rescue diver and continues to train across disciplines—from weapons and acrobatics to Kung Fu and fire staff.

Beyond performing, Jasi is deeply committed to her community. She has volunteered for Make-A-Wish’s live stunt fundraiser, served in leadership roles for the Stuntwomen’s Foundation and Stuntwomen’s Awards, and remains an active advocate and board member in the stunt community.
