Jeff Celentano is an American director, screenwriter, producer, and actor whose career spans decades and genres—from gritty crime dramas to uplifting sports stories. Born in Pemberton, New Jersey, Jeff moved to New York City at 21, where he studied under legendary acting coach Stella Adler and later with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. His early acting career included guest roles on Magnum P.I., Dynasty, and appearances in films like Robert Altman’s The Player and Michael Tolkin’s The New Age. It was during his time with Altman that Jeff was inspired to transition into directing, adopting Altman’s immersive, character-driven approach to filmmaking.
In 1992, Jeff made his directorial debut with the short film Dickwad, which won multiple festival awards for Best Comedy Short. He followed this with several feature films, including Under the Hula Moon (1995), Gunshy (1998), Primary Suspect (2000), Moscow Heat (2004), Say It in Russian (2007), and Breaking Point (2009). His 2018 film Glass Jaw marked a return to the boxing genre, while his 2023 film The Hill, starring Dennis Quaid, became a breakout hit, earning the Family Film Award for Best Family Feature and streaming at #1 on Netflix for six consecutive days.
Jeff’s most recent project, Blackwater Lane, is set to release soon. He is also in pre-production on Eleven for Eleven, an inspirational sports drama in the vein of Rudy. In addition to his filmmaking career, Jeff serves as the Drama Director at The Performer's Academy in Orange County, California, where he teaches acting to children, teens, and adults, providing students with opportunities to work with film directors, producers, and working actors.

What if an expert is sold out?
Many of our experts sell out quickly. You can wait until they unlock more sessions or if they've enabled our Request a Booking feature, you can request a booking by sending them times that work for you at least seven days out. This feature is free to use and you'll only get charged when they confirm the booking (a credit card pre-auth is required).
When do experts unlock more times?
It depends on the specific expert. Some experts add sessions weekly and others add sessions monthly. We recommend booking as soon as possible to not miss out..
Can I reschedule or cancel my session?
Yes. You can reschedule calls at least 48 hours before the session. For any cancellations, or reschedules within 48 hours of the session, we do charge a fee to compensate the expert for the last minute change.
Do you have a guarantee in case I was dissatisfied?
Yes! We're confident that you'll love your first session, but in the rare case that it did not meet your expectations, let us know and we'll make things right.
